Venue: Central Station, Glasgow
Date: June – December 2013
Brass Tracks performed as ensemble in residence throughout Summer and Autumn of 2013 as part of Virgin Trains and Network Rail’s Live At Central initiative in Glasgow’s Central Station. The live music programme enabled Brass Tracks to perform at a number of high profile events held at peak time on a Friday at the train station, which houses the worlds largest glass roof! The space and building provided a unique and special acoustic that complimented the sound of brass and allowed to be both intimate or for the music to soar. Brass Tracks most memorable performance included playing to over 5000 Scottish and Belgian fans, with the ever friendly Tartan Army in fine form and performing festive hits under the Christmas tree in the centre concourse of the station.
